Hope van Dyne, as the Wasp, is portrayed by Evangeline Lilly. She is the daughter of Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne and inherits the Wasp mantle and a comparable costume from her mother.
She is in charge of the Pym van Dyne Foundation, which employs the Pym Particles in aid of charitable causes. [Needs a third party source] Following on from how Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) demonstrated how strong and talented the character was, Lilly stated that the movie would explore how the character copes with her “fragilities and vulnerabilities.
Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors, is a “time-traveling, multiversal adversary” who is imprisoned in the Quantum Realm and who requires Pym Particles to activate his spacecraft and a gadget that would enable him to travel anywhere and at any time.
