According to the press release, “the in-development game will mimic the hunting behaviors that mark the Monster Hunter franchise, and provides players a fresh game experience unique for mobile devices and phones.”

Monster Hunter will be able to expand to other platforms thanks to this first-of-its-kind relationship between TiMi and Capcom, with the goal of giving “hunters around the world” the flexibility to go on expeditions whenever and wherever they like.

From the creators of Pokémon Unite comes Monster Hunter for your mobile device.

Timi Studio Group, who developed Pokémon Unite, and Capcom are collaborating on a new Monster Hunter mobile game. Not much is known about the game at this time, but a press release claims that it will “reproduce the hunting behaviors that define the Monster Hunter franchise” while also providing mobile players with a “unique” experience.

This new game will be Capcom’s debut collaboration with the developer. The Timi Studio Group is a division of Tencent Games best known for developing the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game Pokémon Unite. The developers’ stated goal, as stated in the press release, is to provide a Monster Hunter game that is accessible to both newcomers and veterans of the genre.

It is not the first time Capcom has tried to produce a Monster Hunter game with a tamer difficulty setting. In 2017, Capcom brought Monster Hunter Stories to North America on the Nintendo 3DS. Players were treated to a warmer, cartoony take on the series. Capcom has launched Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, an expansion to the most recent mainline edition of the game, for Windows PC and Nintendo Switch.

In 2023, a new Monster Hunter mobile game will be released.

Monster Hunter and Resident Evil are two of CAPCOM’s most profitable properties, and the company devotes significant resources to keeping them alive and well. CAPCOM’s decision to port these successful PC and console franchises to mobile devices should come as no surprise.

The many Resident Evil and Monster Hunter mobile games accessible are likely no secret to those who aren’t afraid to play games on their phones and tablets. And if you fall into the latter category, we have good news: a new Monster Hunter mobile game is on the way, most likely somewhere in the course of 2019.

Timi Studio Group and CAPCOM have officially revealed that they are developing a Monster Hunter mobile game. As of right now, it looks like the game is still in its early stages of production, and thus very little is known. Studios, however, have said that the new Monster Hunter games “will mimic the hunting behaviors that mark the Monster Hunter series, and provides players a fresh game experience unique for mobile devices and phones.”

The recently revealed Monster Hunter mobile game, developed in collaboration by two seasoned teams, maybe the one that fans have been waiting for. Established in 2008, Tencent Games’ Timi Studio Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary. Among their many successful titles are Honor of Kings, Speed Drifters, and Arena of Valor.

Although many of these games have been successful in China, it is worth noting that TiMi has also worked on triple-A titles like Call of Duty: Mobile and Pokemon UNITE, suggesting that CAPCOM’s decision was wise.

Unfortunately, we have little information regarding the new Monster Hunter mobile game beyond the fact that it exists and has been working on, so we can reasonably assume it will not be launched this year.
