The first teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of FROM has been released by MGM+. The second season of the horror and mystery sci-fi series “FROM” is scheduled to premiere on MGM+, which was formerly known as EPIX, on April 23, 2023.
The specifics of the premiere have not been disclosed by the network; nevertheless, it is quite likely that it will adhere to the weekly one-episode pattern beginning on April 23. The teaser displays some new footage from the second season while also providing the very first look at the new people that have moved into town.
During the second season, previously concealed realities about the frightening history of the town and its nature start to come to light, even as the lives of the town’s inhabitants are thrown into disarray by the advent of unknown outsiders. The first season came to a close with the entrance of a passenger bus full of new tourists, all of whom, much like everyone else, appear to be disoriented.
The show has already decided upon the actor who would play these guests and they have been revealed. Nathan D. Simmons, Kaelen Ohm, Angela Moore, AJ Simmons, and Deborah Grover will all be joining the cast as new cast members. In Season 1, Scott McCord had a recurring role as Victor, and he will continue to play the role in Season 2.
Harold Perrineau will lead the ensemble cast, which also features Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Elizabeth Saunders, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Moy, Avery Konrad. The new cast members will be joining Harold Perrineau, who will play a leading role in the production.
We broke the news a week ago that FROM has been picked up for a third season, and production on it will begin as early as May of this year. Despite this, MGM+ has not yet made the news public, and I assume they won’t do so until after the second season of their show has begun airing.
As the final episode of the first season approaches, the citizens of the town rush to collect as much wiring as they can in order to power the radio tower and get it operational before the storm. Jim is about to speak with someone on the radio when he hears a voice that addresses him by name and cautions him that Tabitha should not be digging.

When Jim arrives home, the hole in the basement collapses, trapping Tabitha inside a tunnel where she is unexpectedly confronted by Victor. During this time, Jim is racing home. Tabitha receives a warning from Victor that the monsters rest buried underneath. Boyd and Sara, on the other hand, emerge from the tent to find that they are in a section of the forest that is covered with spiderwebs. Boyd gets attacked by spiders and starts to lose consciousness as a result of the bites, but Sara is able to talk him into continuing on.
Boyd and Sara are able to identify the source of the light and the horn as being a lighthouse. The young man in white gives Sara instructions to go into a nearby tree in the distance and wait there for him. Boyd is sent into a shaft where he is stuck after being thrown into a tree by Sara, who is responsible for the incident. As the concert draws to a close, a bus that is apparently full of lost people pulls up to the diner in town.
The series was developed by John Griffin and produced by Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones) and Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias, Fringe). It explores the unsolved riddle of a nightmare town that ensnares anybody who ventures inside its borders. EPIX Studios and MGM International Television Productions have collaborated on the development of the series FROM.
Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Scott Rosenberg from Midnight Radio, Anthony and Joe Russo, Mike Larocca from AGBO, and Lindsay Dunn all serve as executive producers for the show in addition to Pinkner, Griffin, and Bender. Adrienne Erickson, who works for Midnight Radio, is a co-executive producer on the show.
In the United States, Season 2 will debut on MGM+; in Australia, it will be syndicated by Stan; in the United Kingdom, it will air on Sky Sci-Fi; and in Canada, it will stream on Paramount+. It will be made available on Netflix in some countries and regions around the world.
