Sin Kiske's Guilty Gear Strive DLC Release Date Announced

Sin Kiske is the latest downloadable character (DLC) for Guilty Gear Strive, as recently announced by Arc System Works.

Since his debut in Guilty Gear 2 – Overture, Sin has been a fan-favorite character in the series. Many fans of the franchise, then, were hoping for his inclusion in the next installment.

Sin fans can rest easy, as Arc System Works has confirmed that Sin will join the Guilty Gear Strive roster on November 24, 2022.

Indeed, there is a lot for fans to look forward to in the second Season Pass of the title, and following Bridget, Sin will be the one to join the cast. In Strive, it will be fascinating to see how this series regularly pans out.

Sin Kiske is set to make his way to Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass 2

As I said, Sin made his debut in the series Guilty Gear 2: Overture, and he was fostered by the main character, Sol Badguy. He is the son of Ky Kiske and Dizzy, with the former being one of the characters to have been playable from the very first day of Guilty Gear Strive’s release.

Even though Sin has been a mainstay in every game since his introduction, he has only made a playable appearance in Overture and Xrd, and he has only made a cameo appearance in Strive aside from a non-playable role in the Another Story DLC Expansion.

The announcement of his inclusion on the Strive roster is, thus, very noteworthy. Regarding his appearance and playstyle, Arc System Works has shown a lot in the teaser, but they have also kept a lot under wraps.

In Guilty Gear Strive, Sin will use his trademark flag as his primary weapon, much as he has in prior games in the series. His playstyle will be something of a “close-range rushdown,” and he will be able to perform special moves that require multiple button presses.

But he’ll be equipped with a calorie counter that, as he spends more on high-end inputs, will steadily deplete his energy and wear him down. To restore his energy, players can force him to eat during the game.

In addition to having an Overdrive very similar to Ky’s, he will also have access to Tyrant Rage, which is one of Sol’s attacks.

It will be fascinating to observe his behavior after his release in a few days.
