Design Comparison: Xiaomi 13 Pro vs. OPPO Find X6 Pro

The Xiaomi 13 Pro for international markets has a ceramic back and an aluminum chassis. The back of the OPPO Find X6 Pro can be made of glass or a combination of glass and vegan leather (vegan leather bottom, glass top). It also features an aluminum frame. In reality, the ceramic Xiaomi 13 Pro and the glass Find X6 Pro have a similar weight and feel in the hand, despite the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s lower size. But, I want to be clear that both of these phones are quite sizable. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is narrower, shorter, and thinner, creating a distinctively new sensation in the hand.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro is heavier than the Find X6 Pro despite being smaller in size overall. This is because of the ceramic that covers its back. The OPPO Find X6 Pro weighs 216-218 grams, while this one is 229 grams. From the front, the two phones appear to be very identical. Each has a curved screen, slim bezels, and a camera cutout in the middle. They also share a similar curvature in their rounded corners.

When we turn the two phones over, you’ll notice a big difference. The camera module on the Xiaomi 13 Pro is square and is located in the upper left corner. Yet, the OPPO Find X6 Pro’s camera island is a perfectly round cutout in the upper middle of the device. The camera island on the back of the OPPO is noticeably larger. Despite their high-end build quality, both gadgets are incredibly slippery, with the vegan leather Find X6 Pro being the exception.

Xiaomi 13 Pro vs. OPPO Find X6 Pro — Screen Comparison

The screen resolution of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is QHD+ (3200 x 1440), and it measures 6.73 inches. That screen can dynamically refresh at up to 120 Hz and is compatible with Dolby Vision. The maximum brightness of the panel is 1,900 nits, and it also supports HDR10+ content. Gorilla Glass Victus shields this curved display.

On the other hand, the OPPO Find X6 Pro’s display is a 6.82-inch LTPO3 AMOLED with a QHD+ (3168 x 1440) resolution. Its screen has a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 hertz and the capacity to display 1 billion distinct colors. Both Dolby Vision and High Dynamic Range 10+ are supported. With a maximum brightness of 2,500 nits, this screen outshines all others on the market. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 shields its rounded surface.

The New Huawei Mate X3 is One of the Lightest Foldable Phones on the Market

Both of these screens are outstanding, ranking among the very best available. They are bright, crisp, and have a wide field of view. They are silky and responsive to the touch. In bright outdoor conditions, you’ll appreciate the Find X6 Pro’s brighter display. The screen on the Xiaomi 13 Pro, however, is also quite vivid and one of the brightest available. Its screen is bright enough to rank third among smartphones. Both of these phones have excellent screens, so you can’t go wrong with either one.

OPPO Find X6 Pro vs. Xiaomi 13 Pro, Which Is Better?

Both businesses agree that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the best chipset available. Simply put, this is the finest processor that can be purchased by smartphone manufacturers right now. Except for the 128GB model, both phones use UFS 4.0 flash memory and LPDDR5X RAM. The OPPO Find X6 Pro offers up to 16GB of RAM on the inside, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro has up to 12 GB.

Does this mean both phones will function exceptionally well? Indeed, that is the case. They are both quite competent in performing routine, daily activities. Neither device has any trouble running games, even the most resource-intensive ones. Keep in mind that, for the time being as least, the Locate X6 Pro ships with a software version optimized for use in China. To import it, you’ll need to sideload Google services (which is simple) and get used to how the program is implemented differently. We’re crossing our fingers that OPPO will release a variation for international markets.

There was nothing particularly concerning about the performance during our testing. Neither of my phones overheated, and I had no problems playing games despite the heat. Both have been performing at the peak of their abilities, on par with the most robust smartphones on the market.

What’s Better, the Xiaomi 13 Pro or the OPPO Find X6 Pro?

The battery capacity of the OPPO Find X6 Pro is 5,000mAh, whereas that of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is 4,820mAh. Both phones, thankfully, boast exceptionally long battery lives. Both phones appear to be nicely optimized, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has excellent battery life. In our experience, both phones have similar battery life.

Both phones’ batteries lasted for 8 hours of continuous use, and we still had some life left over. That’s not a little amount of time at all, but games weren’t included (except for testing). It’s possible, though, that your results could differ. Since we all use our phones differently, with varying amounts of data and signal quality, your experience may be completely different.

Both phones are top-notch when it comes to charging. The 120W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging standards are all supported by the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Reverse wireless charging at 10W is also supported by the OPPO Find X6 Pro, in addition to the standard 50W and 100W options. The power adapters included with both smartphones are capable of the quickest charging speeds currently available.

Cameras on the Xiaomi 13 Pro and the OPPO Find X6 Pro

The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary camera (1-inch sensor), an ultrawide unit with a 115-degree field of view (FoV), and a telephoto device with a 50-megapixel sensor (3.2x optical zoom). The OPPO Find X6 Pro has a 1-inch main camera sensor, a 110-degree field of view (FOV) ultrawide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with the same resolution (2.8x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom). While the OPPO Find X6 Pro benefits from the color tuning and expertise of Hasselblad, the Xiaomi 13 Pro features lenses made by Leica.

Obviously, the camera hardware in both of these phones is top-notch. In low light, the preference for moodier, higher-contrast photos is shared by both phones. Both smartphones produce excellent results, with HDR balancing being our sole complaint throughout the assessment process. It can be fixed with a software update, making the two phones more comparable in HDR settings.

iOS 16.4 Will be Release With All of the Major Features

It’s a matter of personal opinion, but the final images from either provide highly detailed and vibrant colors. You may also switch between several shooting modes using either. The Xiaomi 13 Pro produces photos with a similar aesthetic to those taken with a Leica, and it even comes with Leica-branded filters. In addition to the XPAN mode, Hasselblad incorporated some of its own unique styles into the OPPO Find X6 Pro.

Although it’s not a perfect mix, both ultrawide cameras perform a fantastic job and stay up with the main camera in terms of color science. In terms of portrait photography, both the Xiaomi 13 Pro and the OPPO Find X6 Pro perform really well. The Find X6 Pro’s periscope camera is superior to the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s zoom feature. To some extent, it can even be used in dim conditions. Both phones record decent video, but photography is their primary focus. Both of them are excellent choices for a smartphone’s camera.

Audio

Both of these smartphones have decent stereo speakers. They’re louder than necessary and surprisingly granular. When it comes to bass power and overall balancing over the spectrum, the balance is a little different, but I wouldn’t call one better than the other.

There is no headphone jack on either of the phones. Each phone has a Type-C port at the bottom for wired connections. Both phones support Bluetooth 5.3, so you may listen to your tunes wirelessly if that’s your preference.
